Kickcut listens to the audio already in your clip to find a beat grid. If the room audio is too quiet, too noisy, or has no clear rhythm, Kickcut falls back to even cuts at a fixed interval so your video still comes out cut and timed — just not locked to a detected tempo. Try the Tap tool in TOOLS to set the tempo yourself.
There's no catch. Every effect and filter is free, exports carry no watermark, and there's no subscription or paywall.
Tap Save (or Share) and Kickcut writes the finished video straight to your iPhone's Photos library, ready to post to TikTok, Reels or Shorts.
No. Your videos and photos are processed on your device and never uploaded. Kickcut only sends usage statistics, crash reports and a device identifier (for push notifications) — never your clips. See the Privacy Policy for details.
